The Tug Nga included is a Protective Knot. Protective Knots come in various sizes and colours. The five colours, red, yellow, blue, green, and white, for the four elements and the sky, are often included, knotted with a bit of sheep wool or yak hair. Knotted with blessings from a lama, nomads will wear them for protection or attach them to animals that have been spared from slaughter.
Each New Moon is an opportunity to take a moment to pause and reflect and ask for clarity in our intentions for the new lunar cycle.
